Ordered furniture over 9 weeks ago, no communication from the company as to estimated delivery.
No response to emails and no one seems to answer the phone, instead you are on hold for over 2 hours!
We would like a refund but no hope of that without speaking to someone.
I would rate as 0 if I could.
Avoid at all costs.
Update - Following the post, we received an apology from the company and the goods have been delivered in the space of 7 days. The delivery men were polite and thorough. We have some furniture outstanding but reassured that this will be delivered soon.
The furniture is really good quality and would not change.
We’ve just wanted better communication re realistic delivery dates and someone to answer the phone or email to any enquiries.

Update: Three hours after posting this review I got a call from the Customer Service Manager asking if I could take this review down as it wasnt Moda's normal standard of service etc.... I just received a notification from Trust Pilot to say Moda has flagged this review up as false & I am not a genuine customer. We will see what happens but think this seems to be common practice for Moda to have feedback removed under the rules of non customer feedback for which all I had to give was a order reference which is easily disputed however I will peruse with Trustpilot directly if needed and sent screenshots of emails and the card transaction.
Just be wary- this company is not what is makes out to be.
We ordered our Moda set in late May and received an email to say the delivery team would be in contact to arrange a delivery date shortly. After two weeks I emailed them and after a week I got a standard email back saying that the delivery time is 5-7 weeks. I knew this as it is on the website but why confirm you will be in contact shortly and don't follow up?
Anyway 7 weeks went by and no contact at all so I must have spent at least two hrs on the phone waiting to get through. When I did, I was told a big delivery had just been received and our order was part of it and I would receive a call in the next 48 hours. You guessed- nothing, so after 72 hrs I phoned again ( long wait) to be transferred to the delivery team.
The order was eventually delivered and a few bits were missing but followed via courier( no notification or communication from Moda just APC courier email to confirm I had a delivery) and sadly not what we ordered, wrong color. It has been over a week since I emailed and you guessed it correctly- no reply.
I feel this company spend a lot of time focusing on damage limitation ( such as adding 5 star reviews looking at the written style of feedback but I may be wrong) but they really need to work on their communication. Its okay to have delivery issues especially given the time we go through however you must keep your customers updated.
The excuse that you have skeleton staff due to Covid worked in the first few weeks but there are a lot of people looking for (temporary) work. I strongly suggest you get more customer service reps and a communications & PR manager who has the customer in mind.
Also annoyed you take payment on day one, most reputable companies take the money on dispatch or work on a deposit scheme.
Would I recommend Moda - sadly not- although the furniture is very comfortable I am not convinced it will last all that well. I have two more sets but from Hartmans (2/3 of the price) and they are 7 years old and look as new still, Moda's simply doesnt have that feel of quality.
Please get your affairs sorted quickly as it was an unnecessary stressful process which is not fulfilled to date.....

Amazing service

Amazing service! Gary and team in the warehouse were very helpful, couldn’t have asked for better service!
Delivered the same day by Andy and Gaz who were also very friendly and helpful!
Overall service from Moda has been exceptional! Thanks very much!

Moda Garden Furniture

Pete and Paul from Moda arrived on time, they were very polite and friendly. They were not expecting to have to put my storage boxes together but went out of their way to be helpful and spent an extra hour putting the boxes together. Very professional and great customer service from them. Fabulous garden furniture too! Amanda O'Callaghan.

Very nice garden furniture

The garden furniture is very nice, smart and good quality; I am very pleased with it. Mike and Matt the delivery team were also very friendly and helpful.
There is one thing that Moda could improve, which is proactive communication with customers to provide them with the information that they need without having to phone customer services. Two examples: 1) I did not receive any correspondence from Moda for approximately 7 weeks after placing the order, so had to phone customer services to chase it. I would have appreciated an update during that time (particularly as full payment had been taken when placing the order), even if to say that the items were not yet in stock and provide an estimated delivery timeframe. 2) The written assembly instructions for the parasol base were unclear so I had to phone customer services to request help and immediately received a useful instructional video that solved the problem. If it was a known issue, a link to the video could have been provided with the assembly instructions or emailed in advance of delivery (or alternatively the written instructions could have been clarified).

Can't fault Chris and Wayne the…

Can't fault Chris and Wayne the delivery guys, courtesy call half hour before arrival and helpful advice about assembling furniture. Spot on.
Still waiting for the coffee table to complete the set. Delivery today was well outside lead time and response to emails chasing up my order has been poor. Fingers crossed the outstanding items arrive before winter

Poor customer service, excellent product once arrived

Excellent service and delivery.

We have had a Bistro set for about 4 years and the ratten on the table was breaking in various places.
Moda were excellent with dealing with this and organised a replacement but unfortunately it was out of stock so we had to wait about 6 weeks or more.
In the meantime we ordered a second set
Very happy with the service apart from the long wait but presume that was because of the coronavirus.
Wayne and Chris who delivered everything were very friendly and efficient.
